Pop media uses the term Herd Immunity incorrectly - deliberate misinformation.  Real herd immunity has nothing to do with vaccines or shots or a certain percentage of  kids being vaccinated.  There is only one way a population - or herd - becomes immune to a disease.  The disease burns its way through the demographic, gradually killing less and less, then less people getting sick from it ..   Eventually the group builds a tolerance to the pathogen - Natural Immunity.  The herd becomes immune.  A classical scientific term co-opted by corporate media in a desperate attempt to sell vaccines to the uninformed.  How's it working so far?
